Features 60's Style HotRods, Street, Race, Custom - Come On, Post pictures of what you like !

This is an awesome thread, just been through it start to finish ....twice! These were the sort of rods that were still in the magazines when I got in to this stuff in the early 70's. For some reason the rods with the Firestones/Goodyears really grabbed my attention, would love to see more like the ones below:





Anyone got any decent photos of Jim Jacobs A pickup in the early days? had a search on the web but didn't come up with any.

Allot of the pictures were posted using Photo Bucket way back, and allot of those accounts no longer are active.

Works good too. Could use more converter but then that would lead to better trans, heads, pistons, etc, etc.

Here is a very cool looking street roadster at Riverside Raceway in So Cal that portrays "the look" of the cars during that time period, from back in those early days of hot rodding. The paint was just outstanding in the warm, California sun. Candy Red, Tahitian Red, all very popular in the custom cars and hot rods.
