  7. 141208Scott\'36-copy.jpg Gary, you sent me to search this out. Painted 2014, Scott's channeled '36 survivor. Looks like I crudely 'shopped on a grille to look like the Wolesely/ Singer ? grille it originally had. Now has a '34 Ford grille. Bob tail, , old purple paint, neat old flathead car.
    p.s cool stuff guys

  8. Wow! Great start everyone. If we stopped here, it would still be one of the best Fridays. So Thanks! I drew this Deco styled truck last night. It would be fun to have something like this to take on our road trips. Its no particular model, but a combination of ideas. You guys get up very early, but then, 013.jpg so do I. Ron...

  14. My take on Cadzzilla. A Larry Ericson design. And my good friend Craig Naff, did all the metal work on her. It is one of my all time favorite cars. The only thing that's not just me, is the grill. But I do LOVE ZZ TOP! 018.jpg

I think that you will find that the original grille was actually from a Bentley--it was too wide to be either a Wolseley or a Singer.

Not sure if mine qualifies, but here goes. The wife said she wanted a coat hanger for the foyer. My friend recently took down a barn that stood on their family farm for the past 150 years. He gave me a piece of their beautiful old barn wood which I think was aged to perfection. I had a 1930 Model A wrench and a 1931 Model A wrench that needed a home, then I punched out some data tags. Added a 1931 MN plate. I used gas piping for the hooks. All was going well with my project until I went to hang it. Annnnnd my wife hates it.
