I enjoyed the story and photos, thanks Joey. Wish I could make it to the reunion but it`s just not in the stars at this time.
I`ll just have to enjoy it thru pics and stories from those that can make the trip.
The Super Snake is one great looking fueler, I can only imagine what it`s like to see, hear, and most of all feel it doing those burn-outs.

Am I the only one who would pay up for a poster of this shot?

Just finished the TRJ article, another great job by "THE NEW GUY." Lots of info on both the car and the shots, past and present. Agreed that this would make a great poster, especially for the subscribers (or buy the newstand edition). Joey, enjoy the show, you earned it!

That was such an epic day with those legends.
Man I snake rolled up around after the push
And lit the slicks up so beautifully

talkin to Don Long about the build and he even sent me the a copy of the build and bill that was paid by Lou Baney

Carters epic stories of painting so many amazing cars and details of custom mix and effect design techniques

Snake living big in the RV

Bakerfield famoso track track to ourselves

I can still smell the nitro and fresh orange and lemon orchards driving back that night and thinking

what an epic place to be. This was my view

    wow Was that a dream
