Hey Gary some of the best pics are on that bed of color on the lonely laneway...So you may get an opportunity...
Beautiful photos. We've just come out of one of the wettest winters in the last 30 years About 1100 - 1200mm rain (44" - 48") from 15th May to 15th October Nice to see the sun shining and those autumn colours !
That is not good JC...It is truly breathtaking this Fall stuff. Its worth a trip to see the real thing. Every season has its ambience but Fall is a powerful one. Major 'awe' factor. We are fortunate albeit it is short but sweet. This year the colors are brilliant...The backdrop here is a (Sugar) Maple tree unedited.
I think you must have got our rain, (West Coast) as we didn't get our usual share, and had a pretty warm winter to boot. I'm pondering why we call it Autumn, while the Northen Hemisphere calls it Fall. Whatever the reason, it sure makes for great photos. Keep em coming.
Was looking pretty good here the first week of October so I took a few shots of the Merc out on a drive.
Autumn colored leaves are great this year. The bad part is the 10" of leaves I have to rake up in the backyard, Then once I get the leaves up I have 10,000 black walnuts to pickup.
