I agree with choffman41, Black with a Black top.

 

I'm writing in Washington Blue "Stay true with Blue!" and I don't wanna hear a word about how my vote is effectively a vote for Maroon because Blue doesn't have a chance. Principles, people. They matter.

 

The maroon works better with the tan top in my book. The black color would only work with a black top in my book. Just my 2 cents.

I can't do the green thing. I mean we legalized the green sticky commodity in this state but I still cant get my head around it. Its a happy thing, a natural thing, a felony if you have more than 3 ounces on you, but not the color of choice for my rod.

I found a new cowl vent for my 34 from a fellow HAMBer and I had not given it much notice till I started cleaning it up that the car was a shade of maroon that it was removed from. But...and you will appreciate this five-oh, it appears to have been blue previously. A cover up conspiracy? Maybe the FBI should be notified (Ford Barn Investigations).

I have a friend who painted his 67 mustang with that stuff...wrong!. On the correct car it would be acceptable...maybe a Geo Metro or a 1st gen Prius (future collectable) or possibly an AMC Gremlin (Levi edition, that denim interior would look great with the chameleon paint).

 

I am always hesitant to help choose a color. For starters some colors I like name, uh if you catch my drift.

Then there is a life's experience, once a guy asked what color he should paint his car.I remember thinking why should I care (actually more likely 'I don't give a big ratz ass'),so I said, "Hell paint it purple and call it Lucy" So this dork shows up a couple of weeks later in this purple car with Lucy lettered in big letters on the flanks. Gawd that car was ugly.

The waning hours of this campaign are reaching their feverish ends and a candidate will soon emerge victorious, a result of the HAMBocratic process in action. We, here at the Update desk are now making an unofficial call that Madam Maroon will win the popular vote. With 154 counted the Maroon lead is 66.2% to Black's 33.8%.
