Here's an oldie but goodie from around 1979 when we went to the Nats South when it was in Columbia S.C.
We stopped at South of the Border for some gas.

Here are a couple of shots from the recent Valla Park Rod Run here in Oz, as it was the 40th Anniversary for this run we got all the 40 Fords except for one Sedan and one Roadster that couldn't get there in time and one 40 Chevy and lined them up 17 40/41 Fords and one Chevy is quite good for this part of the world.

Found an old post from Rik while googling around. Nice to see something different, I REALLY like this custom 40 coupe

 

Been obsessed with this model for years. I tried to contact @Zed a while back about it but I do not speak French. The color is mesmerizing, I wish I knew what it was.

Had all three out today....unseasonably warm in Minnesota. I hope to make some improvements to the 40 this winter (and the three window ).

I've come around to thinking that a '40 Standard with a chrome grille and DeLuxe headlight doors is my favorite look among the '40 variations.
