  7. Nicely done and thanks for sharing all your cuts and methods. Lots of ways to skin the top-chop cat, always good to see how others are doing it. :)

I had a 34 that I did 3.5" and stretched the roof. I like laid back windshield post better. Looks great!

Back in 1975 I chopped a 34 3W the same way you did. By cutting the A pillar at the base and leaning it back as apposed to cutting across the cowl and laying the whole windshield back. I had a problem with the W/S frame sealing across the bottom due to the change in angles. Do you see any issues there? I did cut mine 4 1/2 inches so you may not have the same problem.

I cut my sedan by 4 1/8" , I also dog legged the A post and don't have any issues with water or noise, my only regret was that I didn't put the piece in the base to hide the dog leg like I did with this one .

Fantastic work and brave too, 100 times more complicated than my chop on the A. Looking forward to seeing it on the sand.
    Good luck, Ron.

Getting ready to do mine next month. When you cut the 4 inches did you cut the b and c posts the same amount so the a is what it is. I always thought the 5 window needed a 1/4 inch wedge to make the door look right. Thanks for the great pics

No I cut it straight across , I know what you mean it takes some of the taper out of the door window .
