Thanks for the DeSoto pictures. It's a beauty. That '54 Country Squire is really clean.

    Love the Willys,
I helped a friend recover a barn find about 5 years ago, had been sitting since 1979. Now it sits in my friend's garage and no work has been done. Maybe in 30 years my son will find it and recover it again.

  25. A {story} When I was in high school. I seen this cute little blond driving a 58 brookwood to school. It had a 348 with factory air and was in great condition. I was a dumb Hot Rodder kid, and had a rough 58 sedan delivery with 235 in it. So what do you think I did? Yep, I dated her long enough to buy her wagon. I then destroyed a GREAT car, to make a Crappy Delivery a little better. I junked the brookwood in a friends woods. This was 1972. I eventually sold the delivery. Anyone else every do dumb stuff like that? I think I have a few pictures in a old photo album. I know no pics or it didn't happen. lol Ron...

    Hey Ron,

Great story… yes, photos please if they are around. I am pretty sure we all did dumb hot rodder stuff as teenagers. What happened to the interesting relationship? From the past to the future: If we were to build another vehicle, it would be a station wagon with tons of power, lowered, racy looking, and all of the creature comforts, including a/c and handling. Thanks to our friend, The Moose, he modified a wagon that looked like what I would eventually ride around here in So Cal.

    Thanks,

    Jnaki

My 64 Olds that will be either black or dark grey in the future. A 455 with a M20 are lying in pieces at the moment but will replace the 330 and 2 speed trans some day.

My friend cut up a "perfect" '60 wagon to fix the most rusted '60 El Camino I've ever seen. Well perfect except for some reason it had a 331 Cad in it. I pulled that before the cutting began. The Elko turned out really nice but I liked the wagon more. It looked like the one in the World's Fastest Indian. All it needed was a small block and a coat of wax.:(

Well.... the 58 Nomad in my pic is driven by a "cute little (strawberry) blonde" if that's similar. LoL!
