I REALLY wish the mods and RYAN could lighten up on ONE DAY things like this that are VERY IMPORTANT to many of us. It's hardly taking over the site, ONE freakin' thread causes no harm.If you don't want to read it, skip it.
Many of us had fathers and grandfathers that fought in WW2, it might be ancient history to some of you, but it's VERY PERSONAL to guys like me!
that's my Dad getting the Air Medal in Italy, 15th USAAF in 1945 in my avatar. Without guys like him there would be no USA, let alone hot rods.

Disc brakes!!!!!

 

And.....??? Don't know when this pic was taken, but MANY cars from the late 50's on had "spot brakes", or disc brakes. From furrin' cars mostly. Austin Healy's from 1954 on had disc's on all four wheels.

 

Go in with guns a blaz'n man, chin up, we got your back.

 

That was General Patton's staff car in which he died as a result of the crash. There are some conspiracy theories as to the circumstances about the cause of the crash.

Actually it's on Friday! had a good talk with a jolly Yugoslav nurse today on what to expect! Hospitals are just creepy! I really, REALLY dislike 'em!
