Does anyone know where to buy a white mirror muff? The elastic gave up on mine and no one seems to carry them any more. Thanks, Gordy.
...................and don't forget the "dingle-berry" pom-pons to hang around the perimeter of your headliner!
Hello, Remember not to use Windex to clean your mirror or any mirrors before you attach that muff. Windex has ammonia in it and it eats away at the silver in the mirror. Glass Plus is an ammonia free alternative that works well on all mirrors without any damage. FYI There are other brands of ammonia free window/glass cleaners, of course, your choice and cost. Jnaki
Sorry Guy's the HAMB has finally hit a new low with a post about were to buy a Mirror Muff. Back in the day those things were Dog Shit and time hasn't made them any better. I thought this site was for hot rods? I never saw a true hot rod with a Mirror Muff. Gary
Come on Gary,I know you secretly lust for the little doggie in the back window with the bobble head! HRP
Doesn't ANYONE sew anymore?? I wouldn't walk across the street to get a free 'mirror muff', but for the OP's benefit, it's easy to replace the elastic.......What ever happened to the practice of ingenuity, initiative, self-sufficiency and independence? Ray
36-3window, you never heard of a Mirror Muff because your a hot rodder. Hot rodders don't have Mirror Muffs. I could handle a cat or doggie in the back window. A Mirror Muff, no. There are somethings that are just wrong. Gary
The HAMB is also a site for customs and a lot of customs back in the day had mirror muffs and steering wheel muffs. Didn't mean to offend anyone by asking. Gordy
It is the HAMB so that means every thread about customs some "hot rod guy" has to come on and say how stupid or ugly something is pertaining to customs. Par for the course lately.
True man, traditional hot rods and CUSTOMS. Many forget that. I have two mirror muffs in my ride. If anyone were to make fun of me I would put them on my hands and beat them unconscious with my bare muffs. You've all been warned.
Blinky the cat, and I have a one from facades ago sitting on my front porch. I refuse to use it till I could find a matching white mirror muff. I'm saved. Blinky thanks you.
Can't wait 'til I get custom muffs for my canted quads.. some of you guys will love 'em. The rest of you can go paint your bumpers.
