ralph....sadly not mine..just a pic I found elsewhere on the Hamb. I could never find any more info on the car..though someone on here must know it. It does it for me.. very nice stance & chop... I would guess around 6"
Here is a photoshop pic of my car done by someone here on the hamb. First pic is the real chop, second pic is the photoshop pic.
these are all about 3-1/2 chops, the top once is just a strait chop, the other two prob have 1/4 to 3/8 more wedge or there abouts in the front, bottom one was chopped some where abouts 1954/1955, bottom one might be 3-3/4 chop but i was pretty sure it was 3-1/2.
If I were to cut my 5window, this would be inspiration. Perfect!! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Well yea! in my mind I was thinking the drip rail hadn't been changed in that pic, but that makes sense and I'm sure it has.
I leaned the posts on my 3.5 inch chop but years ago I took my body man a 4 ft section of drip rail that he has cannibalized to stretch the top on many 32 chops
Baron, I love the chop on the gray primer coupe . They chopped my coupe 2 days ago, waiting for the photos. I will post them as soon as I get them.
Great. Look forward to seeing them. Your car should have the exact look that you want. If we all wanted them to look the same, we'd be restorers instead of hot rodders.
