They would like a carb that responds well to being rolled on I would guess.

I was thinking the RPM drop when it pulls down at the end of a pull.
I have a good fried that has pulled for years. When I see him for the holidays I will ask what his thought where are them. I do know he never ran them and he won a lot.

Here is a tri power I scored yesterday. I just found the right valve covers to go with it.

I should put a 4-71 on the olds motor for the '39. Wonder how the banjo would like that?:p

HIGHLY sceptical of this, I have never seen any reference to ANY factory 2x4 390 application...

I have heard of them and wanted one bad. Way back in the 60's some of our cruisers were alleged to have had them according to old troopers. Went and looked talked to the mechanics at our fleet and checked around as much as possible back then without the net and found a few references in Ford hot rod type books but this is the only photo I have ever seen.

  14. I'm gonna' say neither one of the blowers has any guts in it. You usually see shit like that on a Camaro sticking up higher than the top.

I was thinking the same thing, just based on the looks, I doubt the guy that built that is deep enough to be pondering the benefits of compound supercharging...

Anti-reversion plates designed by Jenkins for Moroso, to use on the Pro-Ram 2's. This stuff has come a LONG ways with the newer generation of shear plates. A little food for thought for ram logs as well. I have a I have a Darin Morgan pressure recovery shear plate I am going to use on the 351c torker a page back. Cleveland torkers always show a big whole in the torque curve in the 3500-4500 range, with a corresponding dip in the BSFC, I'm convinced the shear plate will make that disappear.

I can when I get back on my other computer, but I am using my daughters iPad right now. My computer is in with my computer guy getting fixed, so it could be a week or so. You can also see pics on the Reher & Morrison website, under the "parts" button, under "manifolds"
