Hi folks, I have a clear gl*** case coil with its bracket that I believe may be for a Model A four banger motor? I've never seen one before and I guess it was an after market accessory or speed part? Would it have been filled with oil at one time for cooling the coil? any help or ID would be cool. Thanks. coil1.JPG coil2.JPG coil3.JPG

Bracket is very similar to GM stuff. Would guess it's an auto shop teachers aid or sales display.

    I
It was actually found in a large group of old car parts. It was in a box with a number of four cylinder distributor caps and some Ford script tools.

Yeah. The oil has run out so that one is no longer good.

Runbaken was a popular brand. Yours looks like a "Blue Flash" made in Meriden Conn.
