The only person with bigger gonads than a rig pilot is the copilot.
Even some without gonads do it.

Glare all you want, but leaning against the building isn't going to get you anywhere.

  13. I robbed the engine from a buddy's Cushman "pidgeon" (sp?) to put in a mini frame. So my brothers pulled the tall 1 lunger Wisconsin off my old man's homemade tractor and were trying to figure out how to lash it up and go down the road on the cannibalized Cushman. We decided that as a first effort to direct drive - no clutch, no anything. Which meant we had to have two kids, one on each side, lift the arse up, run forward with it with the rider on board, and drop it - hoping there was enough traction to turn the tire. Which happened fairly frequently.

But it was a hella ride - no brakes, no clutch - let got the throttle (a piece of wire) and as it got really slow, the thing would bounce up and down like a pogo stick. That Wisconsin had tremendous rotating mass. About 5 mph, rider would just get off and lean the bike over.

    Fun times!!!

  14. You know....

that Dodge (I believe its a 55) is a pretty damned good lookig car. Hard to tell, bet its not much bigger than the Studie. De-glukify it - get rid of all the razzle-dazzle chrome - especially that 2nd set of nerf bars they stuck in the griille - chop the roof, put some wheel openings in the rear that look sporty - drop a period correct Hemi in there and go boulevarding.

    Yeah, my brain's whirling now...

The first year I had my license a bunch of us kids were sled riding on a hill that looked alot like this. The road had been closed for a bridge out a few days before. When we were done I decided to try to make it up the hill in my fifty five Buick. I went way to the right to get in the fresh snow, got to the top with no problem. Instant hero of the day!
