I posted this in the Friday Art Show thread, but this cool little model will be right at home here. My father scratch built this exact replica of my Model A Coupe for me for Christmas. He ordered the body from NY and pieced the car together from other model kits, many parts he made by hand. He made my custom dash and bomber seats for this ride. It's unreal. Even the license plate is correct. I have a great dad!

Hay, it's Sunday so where are all your cool builds? I enjoy seeing them each week. I had a birthday on Friday. So my brother stopped by with this present. He said, that he found it at a yard sale. It looked old, and is very moldy. But it can't be too old, as it has a bar code on the box. But that doesn't matter at all to me. Because models are only fun if you build them. So I plan on building it this week. And will post a picture of it here, next Sunday. Thanks Ron...
Hi Ron, That's an old Aurora kit but it was reissued. I think it's still available. Even with the mold it's a nice present.
Here is a couple 40s I am working on,the green on the sedan looked gloss on the cap but looks to be a flat military color.

Last Sunday I posted a photo of a Frankenstein's flivver model, that I got as a birthday present. I said last Sunday, that I would build it this week, and post it back here on Sunday models. I didn't realize then, how bad of a model it was. Lets just say Henry Ford would turn over in his grave, calling this a T flivver. { pun intended } I didn't put much time into it. But it did have some cool box art. Sorry, but this will be a bump to see some of your very cool builds. Thanks Ron...
I've seen your car at some Milwaukee area shows, it's very nice. The model looks exactly like your car as I recognized it right away. You're truly blessed to have a sentimental father who put in this effort for you.
This one was finished and doing well until a cat thought it was a toy... It will be fixed. And this one is as you see it...
Here's 2 on the front burner. '36 is a chopped resin on a Dick Tracy kit. The '48 I think is a Testors kit ( I got 2 of these, complete un-built minus motors and wheels) in a $1 parts bag. Need to re-shoot doors and hood since every piece of dust in the neighborhood landed on them. Waiting for warmer weather. Don't know what wheels are going on the '48 yet.
It's not sunday, but here are some of my models I have to finish. I think I've shown the El Camino Gasser on the modeling social group but as it's unfortunately gone, I show it again. Chopped and lowered AMT 50' Ford. I had problems with the paint, so I will have to repaint it, engine and interior are finished. Revell 26 Model T delivery, this will become a 60ies Hot rod with blown engine and candy red paintjob.
