Actually from what I have read they don't make as much power as a "normal" Y block intake. Guess the low rise and small carbs kill flow. BUT I would still take one they look "interesting" to me.:p

Found one at a scrap yard, thought it would make a start for a blower manifold..

This is my 327 with an early M/T crossram that's going in my 55 Chevy Sedan Delivery
    image.jpeg

And these are my two 671's, one with a nos magnesium Bug Catcher injector, and the other with a very nice condition Enderle Barn Door injector.

I also have a few Tunnel Rams, this one might be slightly off topic, but way cool none the less. It's a Holley Pro Dominator with early Dominators and short stacks.

    image.jpeg

I also have a couple of Edelbrock Tunnel Rams, a TR-1 with a pair of 660's, and a TR-2 also with a pair of 660's

Man in this photo you can see the influence the Ridgerunner Ram had on them.

IIRC, he made an intro, listing where he'd been and what he'd done, pretty matter of fact, and a couple guys that had never heard of him basically called him a loudmouth braggart, he made one more post, and that was it. I have tried to find it, but haven't had any luck.

He is still posting on the South East Gasser build threads.
He was getting a little political on some of his post and got a bashing for that.

I didn't know that. Did he sign up under a different screen name? His profile under rridgeway only shows one post.

Thanks Falcongeorge, Loudbang and Saltflats for Ralph info..he was way more accomplished than I knew! Back in late 70's I bought an unfinished stud girdle kit as I was messing around with some SBF w heads, canting the valves over, a mild B302 so to speak..Like what Kaase made 30 years later, the P38's..[Drool!] We talked for quite a while on what I was doing and he also showed me around the shop and offered me a job if I got tired of Toolmaking at Pratt..Lol..In parting he told me to bring the girdle back when done and he'd have them anodized for me..Decent man..

  20. You are going to love that in the55. Is that a 750 on top?
