    Health and steady business. Two things that were invery short supply this time last year.
    The continued support of my family, especially the Queen, aka Chevy57dudette.

    I went out today and used part of a gift certificate that I got from my students to Princess Auto. Got a heavier duty bead roller for $100 exactly like the one from Woodward Tools. They were discontinued. I guess I will postpone their post Christmas tests in Math and History.

    I got to enjoy ALL of us AT HOME at the SAME time! ( me, the Mrs. and my 3 "young adult" offspring.
    Dinner;
    Shrimp, scallops, and 2 pies for desert ( a pretty good day, except that my 2 boys are monsters- 6'4 and 6'2 and ate ALL the pie!!!)

  14. Last Christmas: Beloved family pet 2-year-old Aussie dying of lymphoma, 15 hours working in unheated garage trying to fix son's OT car, bathroom faucet breaks and leaks, wife's health worsens. This Christmas: 11-month-old aussie one of our bright spots, son's car running great, wife's health significantly improved. Oh, and I got a box of nitrile gloves. It's been a wonderful Christmas!

    It doesn't happen often, but I got exactly what I wanted this year. I was able to walk my dog.

    On November 25th I was walking my dog and got run over by a speed crazed bicyclist being towed by two large galloping dogs.
    The result of this meeting was a complete new right hip, 6 days in the hospital and 3 weeks recovering at home. Fortunately my little Labrador wasn't hurt. Can't tell you how great it felt to go out with my mutt Christmas afternoon for our first sniff in a month.

    Unfortunately it's going to be awhile longer before I feel like picking up any tools and enjoying time in the garage. But it's unheated in the garage, so I'll enjoy staying warm and trying to figure out how to pay for what my insurance won't.

    Don't take it for granted folks. Enjoy every moment because we never know when there will be a bicycle with our name on it!

    Ported aluminum heads, large by big solid tappet camshaft, 1050 dominator carb, and roller rockers, all for the 464 Buick for the 55 stude. Finally, after 11 years of collecting stuff, it's gonna happen. 10's here we come! Heck, who knows, maybe a 9! And a partridge in a pear tree.

    I received a few trinkets, but was most excited to take my A for a ride Christmas day. It was apart for two months.
    Check the date bottom right corner. Just put the back fenders on and didn't take the time to put the rear hubcaps on.

    My brother found and gave me the car that I always wanted ....To bad it was not the real car...... it was in with all of these other die casts ,this was only part of them he said he has another three or so boxes of cars for me also and if that wasn't enough of a surprise, I received a phone call from my doctor the day before Christmas Eve. And was told that all of test that I had done after my kidney surgery three weeks ago ,where they removed about 35% of it, last year they took my other kidney out completely, showed that the remaining kidney is operating fine and I am currently cancer free.....Now I can get back into working on my hot rods again , been dealing with this cancer crap the last couple of years, but now I'm back and it's time to get some shit done..... I wish every one a very happy and healthy new year....[IMG][IMG]

    OK I got a Power probe 4 diagnostic tool and a 75pc gear wrench tap and die set.
    I already have a nice MAC tap and die set, so I may be swapping that one out .
    The power probe looks really useful, once I learn how to use it !
