    The best old hot rod color by far. The more time goes by the more I keep wanting to go darker than my original idea of 40 mandarin maroon for my 32 PU. Now I'm all the way to wanting this dark.

    A steel structure is good. But if you think it will ever be upholstered, you should also put wood bows and window wood in it. Your sticher will thank you for it.

    Haha,,,,,The entire car was like that. Everything was torch cut and very crude.

    Got the insert tacked in and one door top trimmed. Still needs to be cut and stretched.

    I bought these doors at a local swap meet in the fall... damn they are jacked up! I'm gonna keep my eyes open for a better pair

    I just read all 11 pages too. SO impressed! I have no skills, but I enjoy the hell outta watching someone who does.

    Curious about the colors mentioned above as my '55.2 Chevy truck is about to get color. Is the "oxblood maroon" mentioned above the actual name of a Ford color? Same question about the "40 Mandarin Maroon"

    How's that Mallory dual point going to clear the water pump belts. Looks a little close and I am thinking of running one on mine. Is that a mechanical advance??? Whole project is looking really good.
