It is so cold here that you have to back up when you are outside and you pee in the snow.

There is an event called 'Cabin Fever Expo' up in York - this weekend - and its where all these modelers' display their work. This is the place where you can see those hand crafted museum quality Duesenbergs, PT Boats, steam engines, V8 engines the size of a bar of soap, they have a pond for ships and submarines, huge scale train sets, machinery, tooling - its an incredible show where you can talk to the guys that make this stuff. One year I was looking at a Rube Goldberg machine this kid had made, he was sitting there talking to a little old man. I asked and found out he was 13years old, an engineering major at MIT and the little old man a master machinest and they were talking on a level that us mere mortals can only guess at.

  6. Not today ....

    I am in Kingman, AZ.

Not long ago I was stuck for (3) days at the CA/OR border waiting for the roads to clear south on I-5.

I have down time waiting for a car transport spot to fill my load headed east to Florida.

Put this on my trailer tongue yesterday ....

Yesterday afternoon in the Florida Pan Handle was spent in the spa and heated pool (almost too warm) and then went to the beach so our yellow Lab Maggie could swim in the Gulf Of Mexico. Today its going to be 78 degrees. Sure beats freezing rain and ice storms.

Racer 29 or anyone else looking for a rental in the Florida Pan Handle I might be able to help. There is a week long rod run the first week in November. Great beach cruising, entertainment and sea food.

  17. Just got back from the Early Ford Chili Fest in Greasley, about a 80 mile drive round trip,it's 75 Degrees today and there were a lot of old cars & trucks in attendance,I didn't take a single photo,to busy catching up.

BTW,Allen said this time last week there was 8 inches of snow and a temperature of 26.

The Chili Fest is the same time every year and we have been known to eat Chili in the snow, but not this year! HRP

4 days until we hit the road. Been watching the weather and of course a winter storm is suppose to set in Monday night and snow all day Tuesday. Going to have watch the weather like a hawk. Might have to get on the road Monday.

Yep. Typical crazy weather. It's snowing gently at the moment, but this morning started with rain. Yesterday was sunny and 50 degrees with clear roads, so I drove the Studebaker over to Castle Rock and back for lunch.
