  10. Finally got my wife's OT daily's ball joints done. I think the one on the right explains the squealing tire when you make a turn. It is a wreck rebuild and I think this got overlooked. 1490672131866.jpg

It's about time, the sun finally showed itself yesterday, long enough to get a winters growth of grass mowed, then I welded up a broken chain link gate latch.
Life in Oregon is good again!

Called Steadfast and got a price on the subrail kickup kit for A bodies on '32 rails. Now if the crap I list on "that auction site" sells I can order one in a week or two. Bob

Put my 56 Vic back on the street after 6 months. Total strip and repaint, new carpet, not a kit, and headliner. Glad to have it back.

  22. Pulled the car cover off of the 51 and hooked up my Christmas present battery tender. Started cleaning the garage out so I can get back to work on the A.

Spent an hour digging out more treasures obtained on the trip to FL to buy a 36 cabriolet that has been stalled for about 10 years so could take some more pictures to share on HAMB, spent time emailing them to computer so could edit them, edited them on computer, then realized thread had been deleted when couldn't find it anymore.
I think I'm done with working to get pictures to share for awhile.
No notice, no email, no private message. Only had one other thread deleted in the 10 years I've been on the HAMB and they sent me some kind of notice but forgot reason as it was many years ago.
Never mean to offend but it would help to at least get a clue. I'll bet somebody would like to have got a better look at those 36 rear radius arms. Oh well.

On a more positive note, the original 36 Ford wheels I sweated to get out of the trailer did look to be in pretty good condition as all four still had the clips for holding the hubcaps on them. Don't know stock rear ratio yet but hope it is 3.78 or higher.
