History Hot Rod truck thread!

A shot of mine just before we left for the Lonestar Roundup in 2016. The second shot is a picture of my previous AD truck out on the B'ville Salt Flats.

Well, you asked for Dodges. Here is my '36. Not exactly a hotrod but it does have twice the horse power of a stock one! '58 230 flathead 6 instead of the original 201. I drive it every day I can.

I personally think mine is kind of a hot rod lol


Sadly going to be up for sale come spring time too. Time for a change.
Lemme know if you're interested in a bad ass turn key real deal driver before it hits the for sale adds....I doubt it'll last long

 

My 32 on a nice day last fall, stopped at an old gas station, and it ended up being owned by another HAMB guy. That's is him in the picture.

 

Love it! My 38 Plymouth truck will be done original. Now my 1936 Dodge truck.... That's a different story.... At the moment it is on several pallets until I get a chance to start the build.

Here is my '36 at Bonneville this year.

Then there is this one that is the push truck for The Montana Dodge Boys '28 Dodge Brothers Roadster with a DB Fast 4 flathead engine setting lots of records. The push truck has an Edgy F-Head conversion and multiple carbs.

 

Love the dodge pickups on here but they don't look like (Hot Rod pickups)! They look stock.

Yeah, you are right. They both look very stock, though neither is.

 

Two pages and no Littleman, heres the baddest hot rod truck on the HAMB.

 

I like this one again .

 

A good friend built this a couple of years ago,it is a recreation of a truck that was from late fifties. We both had ridden in it and had set the hot rod future for us,thanks to the original builder Dave Dicharden
