That "No Lift" Norman!!!

 

Dean I think a few of those early fuel pilots missed the day in English class when they taught the meaning of the word word LIFT, but Norm was at the top of the list of no lift drivers

I used to watch him in person and say to myself ' how does he do that '

I would not mind putting a bet on the fact that Leek was the one behind the "Golden Greek" deal. He is the one that labelled Arnie Beswick the "Farmer" way back when. I will ask him the next time that I see him.

Wonder how many shots of Norm like this are out there? This was the norm for Norm. Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

 

I would like to see them all. It reminds me, of me, drag racing my cycles. Front wheel up and smokin' the rear. Good times.

I realize its bad to have rear tires that far off ground, but what is that hanging from what appears to be right front axle?
