Guess we are almost all down to multiple repeats here! LOL That;s why I seldom post anymore.

This is what lighting them on fire looks like. Flamin' Frank used to thrill the crowds at LIONS when this happened.

 

Flamin Frank used to put some nitro on the tires to get that blaze! THOSE WERE the days!

 

I thought he used gasoline to get the orange flames.

 

Gerry "the Hunter" Glenn in John Bateman's Atlas Oil Tool Special. The tail on this car was originally built by Tom Hanna for the Creitz and Donovan car but removed from that car to save weight. Pat Foster and Steve Carbone were among other who also drove for Bateman in the front engine dragster era.

Here's a historic, but little known car...................................

 

We San Berdoo guys like white roadsters. Here's one of our heroes -- one of the Heidelberg Speed Shop (fictitious) roadsters sporting the decal of the other -- Scotty's Muffler Service. Dale Hoffman and Glen Collins seemed to sport a new winner every year.
