  15. a really rare one, DKW F1 from round about '30. DKW was one of the front wheel drive pioneers.
    This was the first model with fwd (f for front). They built only two stroke engines till the end in the early sixties.

  19. I vaguely remember this photo and question came up ages ago - someone identified where it was taken, and I believe the "'cat" is a statue.

  20. Makes sense in rural areas before the big Ag stores showed up. Ford was one of the biggest producers of tractors in that era. We being a Ford (and Volvo) family had a New Holland that we financed through Ford. And a few 40's Farmall's too, but they came with the farm.
