I don't think I've ever seen a Nomad with skirts. It goes against what I thought a Nomad was but I like it a lot.

My '65 American wagon. Have it 10 years now. Doing it up to look like an E/MP car. Hope to finish it by next year. Isn't easy on retirement money.

GAWD, is this THE perfect Nomad, or what? I'd give my left you-know-what to own this wagon. Couldn't love it more.

What's the story? Any more photos? I'd love to know more.

Thanks Aussie57. The 348 is slated to get a 3x2 setup in the near future.

Let me try this again with pictures this time. I'm currently putting my 47 back together. It belonged to my father and spent most of it's life at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA. It's been in family for a very long time and has never been restored but its time to be redone.

I'm leaving the body as is for now but the frame has been blasted and powder coated. The flathead is now 1/8" over with a 4" crank, 8BA rods, MCF cylinder heads and a Weiand 142. I also installed a Columbia 2-speed rear axle, front discs, Lincoln rear drums, etc...

A guy I know used one of the nicest '60 wagons I've seen in years for a donner for the most rusted '60 El Cameno I've ever seen. It came out nice. The wagon had a 331 Caddy in it.o_O I got it. Felt bad about the wagon though.:(

  27. I picked up this pair of 1960 Pontiac Safari wagons a few months ago. The tan one is a Catalina and the blue one is a Bonneville. Overall both of them are in great condition but the floors are shot on both of them and both of them are mostly complete. The plan is to build up the Catalina to be my wife's daily driver, making it a safe and reliable road trip machine for our ever growing family. It will receive a few mild custom touches and will be lowered but still drive able. I'll eventually sell off the Bonneville. I'm hoping to start on it this winter once I'm done with some customer work. I'm currently hunting for a few parts. Build thread coming soon...
