I have known the current owner of HOH since 1969, I was in between him and his older brother in high school.

  12. So they are still around. Haven't lived in PDX for 31 years! They must be what, 55 years old (or so ) now?
Man, I used to DROOL over those Corvette's on Union ave as a kid!

I guess I've been out of the loop for a while as it appears to be called Northwest House of Hardtops now and has a new owner.

… Ah yes, "Shoot'n the Loop" on Phillips Ave, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota … photo here shows the day crowd heading north and as can be seen, all one way. But at night, the loop came alive and grew as time went by, but here the main cruising focus was head north on Phillips for about 8 long blocks of so until it dead ended at the Train Depot, then turn left 1 block to Main street near the old court house and the DMV, then proceed south "up" Main street also one way for 8-10 blocks until you passed Washington Senior High School plus one block to the light then turn left for one block and then left again on Phillips to repeat " Shoot'n the Loop" Friday n Saturday nights … The American Graffiti or Colorado Blvd for Sioux Falls … The Loop, where all the action was, to score, to race and to just look and take it all in …. So now with that info we have a face to this place ….

Thanks for posting Grumpy - did you establish what was in the old Adelaide Barracks shot? Now - what is this one?
being Canberra it could be consular I suppose ... the Lancaster has been inside the AWM since 1955, if that is relevant ... a Toyota - BCOF booty?

Not sure on the ID on the Adelaide shots, still researching. But the car under the wing is an Opel 'Admiral' four door Cabriolet, you are probably right about it being a consular vehicle.
OT, it would be wonderful to hear a four engined merlin powered aircraft down under.... IMO G for George should be restored to flying state. [emoji106]
