HemiTCoupe.....that's the deal right there. I would love to find a failed Tall T coupe project that has a good title with fenders and no drivetrain. Love your car so far.

  12. Really like that-- I've been looking for one for a bit. One day I'll find one I like / priced acceptably

When I bought it came with a current title. It was a old hot rod that someone built. I bought only the body (a '27 coupe & a '27 Tudor Sedan), and then everything else for both, from the same old guy back in Mn. He had buildings full of T's, A's, and a bunch of odd cars. When I moved I had a chance to buy a 100% original complete '27 roadster missing only the tires. For $1200.00, and passed on it. What a idiot I was, but I had to move 3 of budgets largest trucks, and trailers full, from Mn to TN, and had no way to move it. I also passed on a '34 coupe, a '34 pickup, and a '29 sport coupe. All cheap.

That's painful to hear. Up here in the northeast they are just topsoil with wheels. I'd love to find a full fendered 26-27 tall T that hasn't been chopped and is someone's failed project. Like no drivetrain or interior. I want to build one ford powered, t5 and posi rear. Not even sure someone like me could pull it off but I'd like to try. And, the biggest part, one that I can afford.

Thee was one up here in mass about a month or two ago. Exactly what you described. Tall T sedan body complete. It wasn't horribly priced either.

    Forgot to add pictures.

I'm currently putting my 47 back together. It belonged to my father and spent most of it's life at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA. It's been in family for a very long time and has never been restored but its time to be redone.

I'm leaving the body as is for now but the frame has been blasted and powder coated. The flathead is now 1/8" over with a 4" crank, 8BA rods, MCF cylinder heads and a Weiand 142. I also installed a Columbia 2-speed rear axle, front discs, Lincoln rear drums, etc...

My 63 Impala. Finishing up a nut and bolt frame off restoration. An original 300 HP 327 with all new goodies was a PG and now an IMG_0642.JPG M21 four speed. Car has less then 500 miles on it. Just taking care of the nit noid items like seat belts, floor mats, tach, trunk floor liners, etc.
