    Is this the '32 roadster that Barris built for the 2 girls . Then they took it back to Texas or ??

    Back in the early 60's I helped my dad service new VWs coming to the dealership. We just did the mechanical checks, but we did this before they were cleaned up. I remember the entire outside of the vehicles being coated with a waxy substance. I'm sure this was standard procedure for vehicles crossing the ocean if they weren't well protected on board.

    Gaz you beat me to it. Can't see the steering wheel but I think it is definitely an Aussie bodied car.

    isn't this a very young Bobby Unser? Looks like it to me. The girl is attractive but she's got Popeyes's calves and huge feet! Lol

    … Wow just like the first Revell model I ever put together ….painted it like this as well … Oh and yes a colorized demonstration of the proper technique while using the coveted Crescent rounding tool on soft metal carb parts … careful there Stella, too much torque and Bobby here will have to use that extinguisher ….
