Nice work Jerry. How many dropped axles have you painted on that floor? [emoji41]

Nice work. Wondering how you attached the new drip rails? Spot weld from inside of the roof?

  16. Just checking in and it looks amazing. I think you should do a separate thead on the louvers. How to make the tool and then use the tool for stamping.

That's Andy Kohler's floor. The garnish moldings are going to be chrome plated so He's tigging them up for me. After, I'll sand and prepolish...getting a bit fancy pantsy on this one. I believe his floor has seen quite a few dropped axles

Holes were drilled in drip rail channel, weld through primer was applied, and drip rail was clamped on and plug welded from the inside.

Lots of sanding and polishing to go but came out pretty neat. I acid etched an art deco pattern into a pair of brass headlight buckets for the new car I'm putting together. I'm going to polish the raised beams ..then tape them off and blast the whole bucket. After the tape is pulled I'll have an even matte finish on the buckets and a polished raised design. They did this on saxophones in the 1920's and 1930's

Little hand polish ..you can really see how deeply the pattern is etched into the brass buckets

Not that Jerry needs anyones approval, especially mine, but I like everything I've seen.
I opened my mouth before I fully knew Jerrys' skilset and I'm looking forward to how the front sheetmetal turns out.

While I'm getting the headlights squared away, Andy tig'd the garnish moldings up. I'm going to send these out for chrome and a tig seam is so much easier to blend. He did a great job. Im going to pre polish them then send them out for a shiny dip.
