    wreck monument.png
This monument is in Maracaibo Venezuela in the Via Perija, Zona Industrial area if I recall correctly. I used to p*** it everyday on my way to work. I was told it was put there because so many people died in the crash. The direction this picture was taken from, there is a restaurant/deli where I would buy arepas con jamon y queso (o cualquier cosa) and a drink for lunch, or even breakfast, damn they are good.

Why would this young lady pose in front of that old converted cargo box ?
Proud of her kid in the pedal-car but living in poverty. Maybe fruit pickers ?

    RIP funnyman Don Rickles

During the filming of the movie Bikini Beach, Tommy (Ivo) lined up with Don Prudhomme in the famed Greer-Black car. Here Don Rickles (Big Drag) does a flag start.

Bug screens did have a resurgence in popularity within the "street rod" world, at least in the cars that were actually driven any distance.
Myself, I like the looks of a deuce grille full of bugs more than the screens.
