Event Coverage Portland swap meet 2017 who's going ?

I picked up some parts for a couple OT rigs I have. I did score a pretty sweet 31 Buick grill/radiator, nearly mint Dodge Brothers hub cap, 33 Plymouth wavy tube axle and a big block Chevy aluminum intake.

Saw a guy early on Thursday at the track carrying an aluminum '32 radiator with some bent fins. Said he got it for $30

As I was loading up on Saturday, the kid across the way was loading a cherry, zero rust, original black paint, original interior T roadster body he got for $350

 

Another wonderful year at the Portland Swap Meet. Looking forward to 2018 already!

 

Just got an email from the Friends of PIR group I'm part of asking for volunteers to rake the hay off of the track and help with clean up tomorrow so they can get back to racing. Guess I know what I'll be doing after work tomorrow afternoon. Eh, it's for a good cause on both ends

That's funny ! He later bought a walker radiator for 250.00 and sold that alloy one again for what he paid !
