Henry offered 14 different body styles not including the trucks. Which ones have you owned or currently own? Real deal or glass works for this thread. HRP
I have had one 3 window,two 5 windows,the same tudor twice,two fordors,one roadster and a pickup. HRP
Still have my trusty dusty 3W. Also have a chopped and channeled pickup project ,that I bought for $75.00 ; when I was 14. Used to have a Tudor that my dad and I put a 289 in back in the 70's, also one that still bugs me for selling it ,was a channeled roadster I bought in the 80's and sold in the 90's , when bucks got tight. Really should put the pickup together, one of these days: IMG_0147 by bowie posted May 22, 2017 at 9:01 PM
First one was a Cabriolet when I was 18. I realized I had no knowledge, tools or even a garage so I sold it. Two years later (1970) I was in a better position and bought a '32 5W body and frame, and still have it along with a Fordor and another Fordor body, frame and a lot of parts.
Just my sedan in one to one scale, When I built model cars I tried to build every body style but did quite get it done.
Ahh. OK that's what was throwing me off. I was trying to figure it out in my head and kept coming up way short.
One 4 dr sedan, (bought in 1956 for $25!) one 5 window, one 3 window coupe (all apart, paid $275, 1961) ...and a small collection of frames, front/rear ends, and '32 shells & grilles!
I had one 32 pick up way back in 1962, Built one roadster and sold it, still have one 2 dr sedan, one 3 window and one steel roadster all steel cars. You can never have enough 32's
Here are some that I can think of : 5 window coupe 3 window coupe Fordor Tudor Above came in standard and deluxe versions. Sports coupe Cabriolet Phaeton - (4 door tourer ?) Was there a 2 door tourer ???? I always thought so but maybe thinking about Model A's B400 Vicky (Victoria) Roadster Pick-up Roadster pick-up Edit: couple I missed, Sedan Delivery/Flower car ? Panel truck Most, if not all of the above came as Model B - 4 cylinder, Model 18 - V8 BB truck European: Tudor Fordor Plus others from Germany Spain etc. Plus here in New Zealand, Colonial cab pickup. Which I understand is a wooden hand built cab based on a cowl similar to a roadster pick up cowl. There are a few of these still around. Utility (Australia) but some debate this and say that the first utilities were in 1934, and so maybe utilities were one off cut down roadsters done later.
The best I can remember is 4 roadsters, 1 phaeton, 2 tudors, 4 or 5 3windows, 1 fordor and 1 vicky. All four sedans were projects that passed thru my hands; others were all drivers. Love 32's
I have had 5 window, roadster, 2 door. But my dad has had a bunch of 5windows, 3 Windows, trucks, roadster pickup, roadster, phantons, sedan dilvery, B400, two and 4 doors sedans.
Have a tudor, probly the only one ill ever own. Unless i find a pickup. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
