Somewhere around here I have a can of wax from a Lincoln. It is a pre WW II item I think, actually from FoMoCo. It was free at a yard sale, along with a pre-CBS Stratocaster neck! I'll see if I can find it and post a pic.
Also want to say there is some cool stuff posted here! I'm just learning to post from my phone, so I didn't get this part in my first post, duh.
Several years back we moved my grandmother out of her house as she is in her 90's. My dad found this polishing cloth in it's original tin in the garage. It was his fathers and he remembers it from his childhood. Looks like it hasn't been used. He gave it to me, pretty cool to have something of my grandfathers that's car related.

Nice collection! I collect all sorts of cans. Once I get everything organized, I'll see if I have any extras you don't have. I know I have a Blue Coral Pontiac, but just the one.
Groovy lettering on the turtle wax can. I cracked open the DuPont, it had separated a little, used it to polish aluminum and it was great, kinda stinky though. Let me know of these are anything special, or if someone needs them to round out a collection display.
I still have my green and white can of Dupont #7 Rubbing Compound that I bought in '62 to polish my Fisher Body Craftsman's Guild model cars. There is only about 1/4" of the orange stuff in the bottom of the can and I have to add water 'cause it dries out between uses but there is NOTHING better for polishing up old grungy chrome.
Amazing how many ways you can market powdered aluminum oxide! Your collection makes my die-cast Willys/Marx Train collection look puny!!
So... What kind of wax and/or polish do you use when you wax and/or polish your wax and/or polish cans?
