  1. I was looking at my pal Dave's confused pickup and I thought some before and after photo's would make for a interesting thread. HRP

Nice HotRodPrimer. I'll get a picture up in a bit. What cluster is that ? I've got a botched up 32 truck dash that needs some serious damage control.

  4. It's just a standard old style ensign dash insert.Chris Craft boat's used them back in the day and I believe Stewart Warner made them back in the day.

Several company's offer them now. HRP

Don't mind the knobs, they are just there for mock up.

This was the contraption that was used, the part in there is a test piece.

The dash on my '30 Roadster project and the '29 Steelback. The Steelback will get a repop '32 closed car panel that I plan to cover side to side with gauges. If someone can find that build thread on the old JeffreyJames '32 tub that is the panel I plan to copy. Tried every way of searching and can't find the build. Bob DSCF7601.JPG DSCF7602.JPG

  13. I cut out the bottom of my Model A gas tank and took part of the bottom back radius and welded it in gap up front. Then cut the rest of the front out and filled it in. Made the gauge panel from a piece of 1/4" aluminum.

  15. IMG_3448.JPG From my '50 shoebox coupe. I have some work to do to make this dash great again. Someone butchered out the radio hole, so I think I'll make a panel and stick some gauges in there.

The tachometer is a knee knocker mounted in a cup (which was hard to find).

No, but thanks, the current caretaker has a HEMI in it and is on the West Coast, just can't remember his HAMB ID. Bob
