Everything fits if you make it!
'28-29 front fenders do in fact fit, and are the more desired of the two by some- '30-31 have a much bigger front radius , '28-29 are smaller and less bulbous looking. I'm not sure about the headlight bar, splash aprons and rear fenders. Hell, I can't know EVERYTHING!! ( I CAN find out- I hang around with some pretty smart cookies)

I had fenders (steel) on my '31 roadster, and it looked like Dumbo was in the garage.

    nasher ;
same frames, the 28 / 29 front fenders are shorter, the 28 / 29 splash aprons have a larger radius [flatter] , so the rear fender must have the same radius as the splash aprons to bolt up...
because the fenders are different the fender brace holes may be in a different place... requiring the matching headlight bar to the chosen fenders... gravel shield and grills are different...
IMO... use all 28-29 or all 30 -31

My time away from the car has paid dividends ...back from our trip to Va for my daughters National Equine event and her and her team are The National Champions !
After the show ended at 3pm in Lexington Va, I cafinated up and drove 11 hrs straight home to reward myself with a "Free" Day.
So I decided to start sanding the filler on the dash while the sun is out.
As usual the Supervisor is sleeping on the job.

Made my Hand brake mounting bracket a few months ago but never got it mounted. Had to add some spacers (nuts ground smooth) to the backside of the handle mount to get it off the mount I made. [IMG] once I did that it fit great. Drilled a hole through the crossmember for the cable and bolted it on. Feels good to be picking things off the list once again.
Thanks guys for all the talk on here over the weekend. I looked forward to getting back to it.

Mike, the hand brake bracket is great, ok I copy? Or do you have a patent pending?

It hasn't been approved yet so you better make it quick. Maybe drill an extra hole to make it different.
    Just to be safe.

I could have sworn I posted pics when I made it, but I couldn't find them... I'll take some and post them up so you see it without the brake on it. ( Not that you need the help) just thought i had posted them.

    Hey Ron,
Here's what I had in my phone. I had made it with nuts welded to the orig mount but it still wasn't quite far enough off for the handle to clear freely. I had added 3/8" thick spacers on the handle mount itself the other day to have the arm clear the mount I made.
    Hope this helps.

You'll need 5/16-18X1-1/4" bolts for the mount to attach to the trans
I used flat and lock washers with that length.
Also going to need 3/8-16X2" bolts to mount the handbrake to the mount.
Also enough room for flat and lock washers.
    There ya go bud.
    Have fun
    Thanks for the compliment btw.

Didn't have much time this weekend between kids and yard work so I got up early and got a few coats of epoxy on the dash parts. Hoping to have some time this week to get to work on my pedals and M/C.

I pieced it together to see how it was going to look. [IMG]

You can start a side job business chopping up dashes and selling them. Looking good Mike!

I know I'm being picky, but you have your nuts on upside down on the 3/8's bolts on your hand brake bracket. Those little indentations on the nut you see, are there to lock in the lock washer, to allow the lock washer do it's job.
Super job on the dash. Nice looking for sure.
