So we finally have been able to dig back into the cadi powered 3 window, heres a bunch of pics of progress, modified throttle pedal, mount hole was moved up for more engine/dist clearance 40 spring ground to fit into the 32 crossmember i like to do a spring/weight test, it helps nail the ride height down almost perfectly, i put the rear spring up in the crossmember then run a big peice of tubing under it and jack it up, its basically putting all of the sprung weight on the spring bringing the spring down to its future ride height after we did this i layed out where my spring hangers needed to be. now that the car is back together its dead on. body off why buy a rear ladder bar suspension kit when i can just fab it up myself and mount them off an existing crossmember, one more un-needed tubing running side to side in the frame steering set up yes, the trans isnt center, there were no trans bolts in it so i could side it over for room to work on ladder bar mounts clutsh slave and clutch slave hose mount coat of black primer, the car will be painted up nicely in a couple years musta forgot to take a few pics, if i find some more of the firewall and some other assemblies ill post them clutch slave pushrod swinging the body into place body back on nice and low hosed
by by billet outside with one side of fenders bolted on pitman arm nut shrunken down for clearance we built this seat from scratch, used 1x1 square tubing bent on a diacro tubing bender, worked well, all the wood was measured and patterned off an original 32 3 window a buddy has, worked out really nicely, the wife is working on covering it now
so thats where were at right now, hoping to have it running in the next week or so, working on the carbs now have to run plug wires and bleed brakes, its about 90% wired too.
Right there it reminds me of Steve's car, right @Roadsir ? Outstanding work Titus! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Looks great Titus, as usual your work is first class, only wonder about the safety of running a single master cylinder. Brian
Do you realize that many dual M/C are not set up correct to work safely anyway. The M/C MUST completely bottom out before pedal touches the floor!
