  3. I went to Jackson High School, so very close to us as well. We never went there... Plush Pippen yes, Original Pancake
    House (we walked from our house), Original Crab Bowl, oh yeah, Sezchuan when it was good, yup.

    I was living in Brisbane at the time, I was shocked at how devastating that quake was. I was only able to visit the north island in Aukland while over there. (hilly place it is)

    They probably just cut a second photograph like a silhouette, and placed it on top of the crater photo.

    The Trucks are cut out out and pasted on top of the Crater shot, on my computer at least, it's quite easy to see the cut edges. A common practice in the early days of photography.

    Remember the Wigwam burner at New Era? We used to drive by there in the '60's to visit my Aunt/Uncle behind the Piggly Wiggly on 82nd Ave. I always liked the smell of the Wigwam.
