Hey everyone my names Carlos, I've been a long time reader and finally have something worthy to post. I picked up a 53 Plymouth from a friend and have some plans for it. I have been working on it for a bit now. And its come a long way, little by little i figure. I have been running into some hold ups and I figured it was time to post up and see if anyone can help point me in the right direction. I know she maybe a little rough around the edges but I'm starting to really dig this car. IMG_8399.JPG

  2. Great job so far. I like the idea of a four door custom it's something different. What engine/ transmission combo are you going to run?

Thanks 55! I should really get some more recent pics up of the car. I bought this from a friend of mine who had it fro a while before I got my hands on it. I figured a four door so I can stick the whole family in it. However when i got the car it had a Chevy 350 installed. I decided to drop in an LSX with a 700R4 for the time being (planning later to swap a TH400). Eventually I plan on adding a turbo to the setup as well.

Looks good. I got a four door '56 chevy for the same reason. It's more fun when the whole family is involved.

  7. That stance is on point! Curious if you had to notch the frame to get it that low?

Any pics or info on the suspension? I have a 54 Savoy that I'm hoping to get that low. And where in the bay area are you from?

Nice. I have a 54 belvedere in my garage that's just waiting for me to finish other projects.
