    Ford Police 1954.jpg These were 1954 Ford Police Interceptors with the 256 Y-block used on the Autobahn between Mannheim and Stuttgart.

    Yup, and back when DQ used CREAM before diluting their ice 'cream'. I remember dad splurging - getting us 25 cent cones, they were huge.

    '53 or '54? And notice those crossed checkered flags on the fender - aftermarket or does anyone know if they were a factory option? It sure is one nice Crestline.

    54 definitely. The flags look like 55 T Bird emblems and I think that rear antenna wasn't availabe until 55 or 56.

    dobie is right 54 as to the antenna it was an option in 54.a lot of people ask if it lights up

    No the antenna doesn't light up, I have one on my '56 and that is just transparent red plastic. ****uming then, that the crossed flags were post-production add ons? I like 'em.
