I ran into Rich Guasco at a Goodguys event and he was gracious enough to sign the diecast display for me and share some great stories .....

Nice photo Ron, almost looks real at first glance.

 

49 Olds die-cast, was a replica of a Mexican road racer, took it apart made it into a old dirt car.... couldn't wait till after it got the lettering and numbers on it , to take it out and play in the dirt.....

Heres mine

 

I did this one a few years back...Started out being a car quest die-cast bank, then It got torn down and came back as this..,.Paint is flat black then rubbed it out with some rubbing compound....And give it the rake .........
