Hot Rods I got my super RARE Fooey Face hooked up! It took me years to find one.

I SEARCHED FOREVER TO FIND A WORKING 1938 FOOEY FACE FOR MY 1939 FORD PICK UP. HERE IS A VIDEO OF IT WORKING.

 

I have never seen one of those.....pretty cool

Well damn - all these years I've been using my middle finger for acknowledgement.

 

Fooey face is way cool, wish I had one. Where and when did you first see one?

 

I first saw one when reading an article and it mentioned what it does but never said the name. I looked everywhere for one by typing in "clown face brake light" and different things. Finally I found the name and was able to set a bunch of internet alerts in the event one was listed.

Not going to get into the suspension talk, I appreciate your opinion but I built the truck for me and my taste.

I always thought that one of the great untapped modern car ideas would be to have some sort of way to impart messages to the car behind you...like "Back off, clown." The possibilities are endless. Little did I know that it existed, many moons ago. Gotta love it!

Coincidence that you have the World's Fair plate too. I have a Fooey Face that my father-in-law's dad bought at the World's fair. Unfortunately my Fooey needs a complete repaint.
edit 5/14/2018: I have gotten 3 requests to sell this thing. As of this date, it has been sold.

 

That truck certainly doesnt fit in a traditional hotrod forum
