The GN "PARKER" and the historic ERA R4D. Although ERA R4d is not a cyclecar as such, it does have a lot of history at Shelsley Walsh .A former outright record holder at the hill.It has been up the hill more times than any single driver.Perhaps, the car has so much experience on the course that all the diver has to do is hang on!

Should not the tires be switched left to right, right to left?

These folks are pretty good tuners. So,I'm going to say they probably have them on the right direction. I do see what you're saying about the tread.

A lot of torque going through the second flywheel assembly. Do you know if the car has run in competition? If the lower ends are standard, I don't see how you can tighten the tapers enough. If one piece cranks are used, then the rods have to have removable big end caps (and insert bearing shells?) I have done this. Also the tires are on the correct way for a non-driving application, per farm tractor practice

Ewan is a pretty busy guy. I will ask about the connecting of the 2 engines. He does some pretty crafty things to upgrade the lower ends of these engines while retaining the original outward appearance.

    Hello Herb,
I had two dilemmas about that tandem-double-engines Morgan:

    1. As this tyres are from super-bike motorcycle (it looks to me as so), knowing something from experience of my friends in Belgrade - they are put in wrong direction? However, as they have circular cross-section - only one inch or more should be on ground with three-wheeler, so side canals are not of so big importance?
    2. Is this just because of photo-angle and possible distortion - it looks to me that front engine is something lower and was seating only at wooden blocks? Then, they do not look connected to each other - there are some components infront Morgan, tandem-doubble-engines.jpg of the rear engine (do not know what they are) on the way of possible crankshaft connection between two engines? However, maybe they are on the same level and shift connection is passing below mentioned components – and I am totally wrong!

    Ciao,
    Zoran

Testing a new set of Magnaflow Mufflers on my Morgan 3 Wheeler. These replace the factory exhaust that are too restrictive all done with no modifications to the Morgan and the originals can easily be put back on. Now the big S&S Twin-V can breath a little easier, sound nicer and run cooler too!

This should be in the New Yorker back page caption competition.
