This last picture was taken in Pie Town, NM, which probably looks the same today as it did then. I used to pass through there all the time when I was driving Rt. 60 between the panhandle of Texas to Springerville, AZ.

The Pontiac Spring and Wagon Works was producing buggies, surreys and road carts as early as the 1880s in Pontiac, Michigan. By 1899 this company was incorporated by Albert G. North and Harry G. Hamilton. In 1905 The Pontiac Spring and Wagon Works merged with the Rapid Motor Vehicle Co.

The most recent Pontiac was derived from the Oakland.
