The car on the sign doesn't have the same trim package as the car in the foreground.

    It's not a problem....just an observation.

  10. I had a 4 dr Valiant that color. Worse, it was a Michigan car, so it had rust too. Bought it during an emergency from the old man. Got one of my regular rides back up & running, so that ugly thing had to go. It was a good car mechanically, except the factory floor shifter was a piece of crap.

I drove it up I-75 from clarkston towards flint. Made it all the way to the miller rd exit, where it popped a rod and I coasted into the Holiday Inn parking lot where I abandoned it.

OH, btw, I stayed in 2nd gear the whole way.

    Yes, it was THAT ugly.

Yeah but the difference in street wedge and max-wedge was like night and day. Stage III max-wedge had 13:1 compression ratio, short ram two fours and total different heads. If you had intake off the max-wedge and set single four street intake on heads, you could see 1/4 to 3/8 in. open port above top edge of street intake. I mean HUGE intake ports on those max-wedge heads and of course larger valves etc.
