Technical Can this be saved

They're cheap enough to just replace it....I wouldn't fuck with it. It'd drive me crazy thinking it just might have gotten crystallized and might snap on the next pothole.

 

There is not a chance you would get away with repairing that in this country.

Bought 3 pairs of 37-40 original spindles at the LARS for 100.00 a pair. I'd just replace it.
