    the Palamides bought Jack Friedlands' dragster in the early '60s and did numerous modifications including this two-blower setup on the Chrysler powerplant. This was his fourth dragster, seen here at Redding Drag

    THE Palamides' second dragster, a slingshot with a' Desoto motor, was finished in mid-1956. It graced the cover of the November 1956 issue of Hot Rod.

    The belts were for riding comfort. They help keep you upright and not slouching to help the back and help keep your innards from bouncing around on those big vibrating hogs. :)

    As said kidney belts... I've got an old black Buco with multi colored rinstones about a 32" from the fifties in my stash...need to find and pass it on.

    I can make out Tommy Hinnershitz, Holland, Sostillo and maybe Wallard but the quality is pretty piss poor so I'd hate to I.D. anyone else with any certainty.

    Couple from my Sister in Laws Family Album. She remembers riding in it, but I guess that was as a young girl.
    Owned by the manager of a local ballroom. It still exists.
