Looks like 70's Stafford Springs speedway before the flea market got big. Fleamarket was infield only and rods were allowed to park around the track.
Flamed roadster belonged to my late friend Ronnie Robinson. Car was originally a coupe he removed the top and the car had a built flathead with a Scot blower. He called the car " Voodo"
I If I remember correctly, wasn't that in late oct or early nov? I remember I was frozen and could barely open my hands after the ride.
I like the 57, I'm looking for my old 62 corvette and I understand it's around Ashby MA. it's a bright yellow last looked like attached picture. Taken at car show maybe at Ashby american legion. Pat
Ashby is a ways away from me but we do have a couple 62s in the Merrimack valley, both red Sent from my SM-G900V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
As I was leaving the Rhinebeck fairground at the GG event I spotted this T that looked awfully familiar so I asked the two gentlemen if it was theirs the elder pointed to the younger and I replied that you're too young to have had this car in 1972. He said no my father (the elder) owned it then. The "Sunkist T" is still around and driven all over. It was built in 1970 and I became familiar with it by 72 when I took my Willys to the East coast shows, the car is one of the truly cool driven cars around and made my day seeing it. They hail from northern Jersey and drive the car with the slicks on it. Pat
Here's a few pictures of pictures of cars taken in Vt at the auction last month. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
