On that note if you don't want to donate a free sandwich to Beaner maybe put a lock on your lunch box lol

  2. LMAO There has been more than one HAMB Drags reveler that has been rescued by one of the girls over the years. ;)

It usually goes something like this:

    "What are you doin' 'Beaner?"
"I'm getting me a sammich, they got liverwurst. :D "
"Uh do you know the Beaner? Did you say he could have a sammich?"
"Uh nope. Well I guess we do now."

"You put that back !!! You can't just help yourself to someone's food."
"I was hungry. If they didn't want me to have it they shouldn't have had it there."

"Better come with me, I'll get you a sammich."
    "OK , is there beer?"
"No you can't have any more beer!!! Crazy ol' man :) "

    "Uh sorry, he's really harmless." ;)

  6. I inherited a cooler on wheels. I am hoping that one of the Texanos will bring me a 6 pack of Pearl. uh hint hint.

Anyway there will be libations at the Yay-Hoo. I can't give you anything alcoholic in the pits. Sorry fellas. At the track the name of the game is NO BOOZE FOR YOOOOS. Don't get me wrong here I have been so bloto in the pits that I could not find the staging lanes in my time, but it is a bad idea. Too many kids and cars. That said, drop your keys in your room at the hotel, its party time. :D

We will have to pop a top or two on Friday night and then again Saturday night after the event.
I will have a sober driver.

Wow. Return road re-paved? It was so rough, I had forgotten it was ever paved in the first place. Ha ha.

I used her credit card to register. I've been having great fun all week teasing my wife that she has to race the car now. IMG_2819.JPG

Rolled it out of the garage.. Fired it up. No leaks, but the fan thermostat isn't kicking in. I used teflon tape on the threads and that wasn't the right thing to do. Will fix that tomorrow.

Are you sure I did a bunch of testing on commonly used sealers and found that teflon tape DID NOT make any difference in resistance between the sensors and housings. The reason is the threads cut into the tape making perfectly fine connections electrically.

I think the sensor was fine.....I was pulling power from the wrong source. Ended up removing the Teflon though and putting just a little number 2 permatex on.

They are recaps from Towel City. 28.5 tall, 8" wide on a 7" steel wheel. I think they are on a 235-15 casing. $170 each. Had to kind of stuff them in...pushing in the front first, hope I never have to change them on the side of the road!

Wow that is the kind of lopping idle a bunch of people shoot for. What is it about 600-700 RPM?

The return road is real nice and smooth now if they just smooth up the very end of the track at the curve onto the return road it will be super nice
