Headed to Kansas City to see my Momma before I double back and go to Joplin. Nothing but this the whole way....

Speaking of being safe......I've put a few mile on my car since changing the bell-housing, did a few launches, thought everything was fine until I brought it up to speed and did a hard stop. I pushed the clutch pedal in and the brake pedal. The pedal only had about 3/4 travel. The pedal arm hits the clutch fork only when both are depressed hard. So I had to do a little die grinding on the top of the fork near the ball, and for good measure boxed the back side of the fork.
It's good to go ....and stop...now!

 

We will be headed out in a few hours to our farm just north of Springfield, check out the swap meet tomorrow then over to Joplin. Looks like a good weekend ahead!

The racing for the cup is going to be epic this year. Anyone that runs is going to be in great company.

The first cup contender stopped by my place on his way through. @Ryan you need to take a minute and check out @mcmopar dodge pickup. Tony has really outdone himself on that truck my friend.
