Thought the board might be interested in seeing the new induction setup for my six cylinder. Don't see supercharged ones very often. It's been a ton of work but think it came out well. It's got an original GMC 4-71 on a cast manifold. Manifolds are as cast so they take a bunch of work to make useable.e Running 15% under on a 2" drive. 28* locked out timing. Yeah I know what's on top isn't the most traditional but it sure makes it run well, once I do some disguising it'll be hard to notice anyhow. Still need to make a decent scoop and clean up some fuel lines.

Very cool. We need more pics though. I'm sure the FI is far more tune-able, and will make more power, but a pair of dueces sitting on top would sure look a lot more traditional, and would blend in better with the rest of the car. But you say you aren't done yet, so we'll see how it turns out.

Would love to see more pics of how you squeezed the l6 in there anyway!

Thanx for posting. I've got a James Larrowe setup for my 235 stovebolt but I'm in the mock up stage and a long ways from first engine start. Nice to see and hear a similar rig running.

    neat!

one thing I like about blowers, is that they seem to be pretty tolerant of fuel delivery. I have a pair of stock Carter 750s on my blown 427. spent less than $200 buying the carbs and rebuilding them, and they work fine. None of that EFI crap to deal with.

but if you are into the efi crap, and carb challenged, the setup you have should work fine.

This is a Chevy so it came stock with a 6 cyl so there really isn't much issue getting everything to fit. I'd actually like to move my radiator back a bit as it still seems a bit long but that seems like a lot of work.

Pretty cool! Looks like we ended up with very similar setups. I hope your manifold bolts are easier to install than mine are with headers. They were an absolute nightmare and I had to grind / cut / weld wrenches to make it happen. Might be easier with manifolds but they sure were a bear with headers. I made a lot of the plate to fit the blower with my router and drill press.

I bought the whole setup from Larrowe including TBS blower, pulleys, and a double-keyed crank. He did the hard work and he threw split-headers into the package. You can be proud of the sweat-equity you put in your setup. I'm especially pleased to see it running with the long blower snout and long belt necessary for this setup.
